The Brazos room occupies approximately 4,500 sq ft of event space and has a capacity of 400 people. It’s located in between the South Side Music Hall and Lonestar Room on the Lamar side of the Gilley’s Dallas complex. Hundreds of different events have been hosted inside the Brazos Room and it is favored by wedding planners for hosting wedding ceremonies, receptions and rehearsal dinners. Corporate events like seminars and other speaking events also fit well inside the venue, which can be arranged to seat as many as 200 guests. For small private parties, company events, dinners and other events requiring a capacity of 400 or less, the Brazos Room is an excellent fit.
Because of it’s central location within the facility, the Brazos Room is often used in conjunction with the Lonestar Room, South Side Music Hall and South Side Ballroom. The Brazos Room is sometimes used as a VIP room at larger events, often featuring entertainment, bars, catering and other exclusive services for special guests.
Different from other rooms in the Gilley’s Dallas complex, the Brazos Room has very little permanent decor and designers can decorate the room to fit any event’s theme. The simple brick walls are decorated with large wooden stars, subtly celebrating a western heritage. Large double doors open in 4 different places allowing controlled access from multiple sides. Music can be played over speakers throughout the room independent of what is playing in other rooms and the equipment is in place to provide simple audio production. In general, the Brazos Room is equipped with everything necessary to host special events and parties for groups of 400 guests or less.
